The Journey Continues, begins where Ancient Rights - a Woman's Journey leaves off. Merrill Darwin, a professional artist, has made a decision that will ultimately change the course of her life. She has had to decide between returning to The Florida Keys and her faltering relationship with her live-in boyfriend, Neal, hoping things will improve, or going back to New Mexico, called The Land of Enchantment where she spent three weeks painting the high desert and stark mountains at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu. At the time, Merrill felt connected to this retreat with the metaphysical surroundings and occurrences that began from almost the minute she arrived at The International Airport in Albuquerque. Going back would still be an emotional unknown. Add to the equation Raul Martinez, a newspaper photographer who she met on the last day before returning to Florida.
