Amby Bugby lives in the Clove, a place where everybody plays it safe. Most bugbies are too afraid to use their wings to fly and too cautious to leave the safety of their wooded home. The only tastes of adventure Amby gets are the stories old Mr. Hobnail tells of wild bugbies and giants, but those tastes have left him hungry for more. When the opportunity for adventure finally comes, he has to use all of his wits and courage to survive, especially when he meets a giant face to face. His journey puts him in the middle of a war between an army of vicious mountain rats and an enormous bird called the Snock. Along the way, Amby forges lifelong friendships and makes dangerous enemies. Amby and His Giant is a tale of small folks on a big adventure.
