The main objective of the presented research is to demonstrate the interaction of individuality in society, to draw attention to the fact that behind the various "faces of culture" there is also a person with his abilities, needs and goals. The historiographic consideration of possible variants of search and acquisition of individuality in the cultural and historical perspective of mankind allows us to identify universal regularities of human development in biogenesis, sociogenesis and persogenesis. The results of the study can serve as a methodological basis for various areas of applied human studies, empirical study of human individuality and its components.
