This memoir has been in the making for many years. I suppose you could say I've been writing it since the day I was born. I wrote this for my daughter - it is basically a book about events and people that I wanted to make sure she knew and would remember. So, now I want you to know more about the events and the people that have shaped me into the woman I am today and there have been many. You will notice some very short recollections and some that go on and on, perhaps too long. Though she and I have talked much through the years, there are still so many important moments that I have not shared until now. I hope, as a reader, you will find humor as well as pathos as you read about what creates the me that you will get to know; for I am definitely a compilation of all that occurs as I move through my life. The most important person in my life, of course, is my dear daughter, and through her and now to the reader, I present this ethical will - a snapshot of my history.
