YOUTH is the final of three interrelated novels (the others are CHILDHOOD and BOYHOOD) published by acclaimed Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy. The three novels explore the inner life of a young boy, Nikolenka, as he grows to manhood in mid-19th century Russia.
