Rory's inability to find normalcy in his life after losing his girlfriend has left him with crippling depression. He thinks that Anna, his alluring and enigmatic neighbor, is the only woman who can help him move on-although he hasn't actually talked to her yet. At the lowest point in his life, Rory's thoughts of suicide are challenged as he crosses paths with Dylan, a neglected nine-year-old in his East Village apartment building.
