Written for a Friend
is much like a constellation- like individual stars light-years away from one another, only connected by an astronomer's idea.
This collection is five stories set across time and quite far apart. From the western coast of England, woods of Appalachia, to an old lighthouse in New England, long desert road in Nevada, and silver loch in Scotland. These places and the stories they hold are connected by explorations of family, friendship, and grief. And a little magic, too.
People can be like constellations as well, when we share stories. For a moment while reading, though we are individuals and very far apart, these stories will connect us like lines between stars.
