Whispers Of Music In The Mountains by Joyce H. Hynes, takes you to Putnam County West Virginia visiting the prestigious Abington Academy run by cantankerous Mr. Elmer Ensemble Elk. Auditions are taking place for the upcoming fall semester culminating with a concert at the end of the three day event. Twenty-six students selected representing each letter of the alphabet paired with a matching letter instrument for the audition. Within the small community music echoes and dances with God's unending possibilities and love.
