This book is made up of selected columns originally written for The Bee, a weekly newspaper published in De Queen, Arkansas. Each column is an essay of approximately 500 words dealing with a great range and mixture of topics. All of them are short enough to be read in minutes and, in some cases, cogent enough to be digested for a long time.
