Widdendream: a memoir

Memoir of the tumultuous journey through the remarkable, life-changing decade of a 50 year old woman after she ends a 23 year marriage, highlighting events, including mental and physical abuse and the mental turmoil resulting from poor personal choices as well as the empowerment that has come from their resolution. Explores the effects of a strict Catholic childhood on decisions made as an adult, the realization of the sexual passion that drives a woman in her prime, and finally the work towards the balance that moves her beyond the trap of the rescuer. Ultimately triumphantly rejoices in the power of the human spirit to overcome abuse and to rise above bad choices to look towards life lived to the fullest as opposed to mere existence.
