Whistler: The Secret Storm

Mark Whistler, a 2018 Massachusetts Institute of Technology graduate and recently employed research analyst at Mega Health is given a secret and delicate assignment by his superior. A heart defibrillator manufactured by the company could harm patients. It may even be responsible for deaths. He ponders the potential consequences and reluctantly accepts the assignment. Mark dives into the case and encounters numerous roadblocks while investigating internal and external sources and processes. Some answers challenge his ethics. At times he fears for his life and those of his information sources. The more he learns after a thorough fact-finding mission into the product's safety, the greater his dilemma. His conclusions will affect the future livelihood of his family, friends, and associates.
