Where We Come From / Go in Bloomington, MN

This collection of poems is a memoir-esque journey through some difficult times in the author's past. Throughout her teenage and young adult years, Jenna struggled significantly with a lot of issues boiling down to depression. She has a lot of memory loss from that time as a result. These poems were written to remember, to acknowledge the good and bad about the past, and to write about the positive things that have come about in the time since then. This collection helps reflect where she came from, and how she became who she is today. Call it vulnerability, or perhaps foolishness, but here she is. This is me. Individual poems do not have content warnings. This is an upfront content warning for self-harm, eating disorders, and suicide.
