Eddy Sullivan is an aspiring movie screenplay writer having relocated from Brooklyn, New York to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. It all seemed to be going according to plan when he met the well connected fashion designer, Vanessa Mara until he realized that the relationship was filled with empty promises and leaving him feeling empty. Then he met single mother, Jessie, who turned his whole world upside down in a good way. It was love at first sight for Jessie and her daughter. This did not sit well with Vanessa being pushed aside and sought revenge. Little did Eddy know that Jessie had a secret. A past that she was hiding from. A past that Vanessa found out about and decided to use it to her advantage to get Eddy back.
When Jessie comes face to face with her past it will leave her with a choice to keep running or face it and come clean to Eddy. Everyone soon learns that Jessie is not the only one with a secret.
