When The Bell Rings in Bloomington, MN

A religious community dressed by vast land and free from modern inconvenience is held captive by a centuries old ritual that feeds a malevolent spirit once a year. Within the town's agreement to oblige by the entity, the High Council alongside its head priest who governs the land, commence the sacrifice so it doesn't harm more than it needs to feed.
Now, a boy living secluded from the outside world reunites his youth amongst other adolescents as he's placed on the brink of death, resulting in a much deeper truth surrounding the town's sinful past.
