The journal of John Cox Bayliss consists of his diary and letters over the period 1830-1866, edited with notes and an introduction by Mike Fraser. At times funny, poignant and heart wrenching, this work explores the life of an Ironbridge schoolmaster and artist in the early Victorian period.
