What is a "Veterinary Technician"? I'm so glad you asked! I am going to share with you this field of animal medicine that many do not understand fully. We are going to chat about the multiple roles a technician has, how it affects your pets at the vet office, in your home, and how this field is so much fun! (Most of the time). In a field full of puppies and kittens, it also is full of heartbreak, trials and tribulations. Every day is an adventure! Not only do I discuss the courses I took, but I also discuss the skills, qualities and traits it takes to be a great technician. This field of Veterinary Medicine is not a job, but a true calling for the strongest souls. Even when people leave the field, many return.
