The twelve disciples of Jesus went through a discipleship taught by the Savior. While there were no copies of the Bible available at the time, they went through a three-year period of discipleship training without any written material. Jesus and His word was the teacher of the disciples. How did the disciples learn from Jesus? What can I learn from Jesus? What does it mean to be a Christian? Thinking of becoming a Christian. Thinking of joining Christianity. Drifted away from Christianity. Backslidden in faith. Backslidden in my Christian faith. Understanding confession. What does confession mean to a Christian? How important is confession to a Christian? Can confession bring me closer to God? How powerful is confession? How to become a well-disciplined disciple of Christ. Understanding the conditions in which the presence of God draws near to us. The nearness of God's presence is conditional. Originally from Ghana West Africa, Dr. Brew migrated to the US in November 1981. Brought to the US by a Greek shipping company, he sailed on a Greek ship "Delfini V" on American waters from 1981 to 1983. Sometime in 1983, he left the company and worked for the Scandinavian World Cruises headquartered in Miami until 1985. Towards the end of 1985, he got saved and joined the New Jerusalem Church of God at Washington Park in Orlando, pastored then by Pastor Henry Leonard. Dr. Brew enrolled in Page Navigation School in New Orleans to study for his Second Officer course in Navigation and in the same year, simultaneously as a navigational requirement, pursued Advanced Radar at Delgado Community College in Orleans. In 1987, he returned to Orlando where he enrolled at the International Seminary at Plymouth. There he earned his Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Theology. He has spent much of his Christian life evangelizing while under the pastoral of Pastor Jimmy Hawkins. Finally in 1989, he met and married his lovely wife Selina Peasah also from Ghana. God has blessed them with the fruit of the womb and today, they have three children; Andrew, Patrician and Edwin. Dr. Brew founded Soldiers for Christ Evangelistic Ministries and on July 14th 2002, the church was planted by his Bishop Apostle Julia Wade.
