The idea for this book came about when a pregnant co-worker dipped a slice of green apple in her salsa. Having two children of his own, Rafael Lujan began sharing his experience with pregnancy, and the concept for the book was born. James Kelly, being the avid fact finder, proceeded to research all the quirks and formalities of what new moms and dads go through. What started out as a humorous book on the weird cravings of pregnant women, soon turned into a "Pregnancy 101," covering everything from tips for optimal nutrition to fun facts.
