Walking with Ulysses

Walking with Ulysses is a shamanic adventure that will thrill and amuse both older children and adults alike. Bernie, a not very imaginatively named Bernese mountain dog has a problem and being very hairy, a bit smelly and not very clever isn't helping. With the help of his friend Ulysses and a menagerie of local characters and wild beasts, he sets out on a journey of discovery littered with twists, turns and very smelly subplots. Meanwhile, Silas Hopper, the local chicken farmer is contemplating his existence and propensity for shooting at anything that moves - including Bernie. Silas has a secret so deeply hidden that even he has forgotten all about it. Drawing on spiritual concepts, philosophy and modern dilemmas - Walking with Ulysses is a short novel for all ages that aims to entertain, amuse and offer food for thought in equal measure.
