Sliding doors solve a problem that hinged doors create, which is needing empty air in front of the cabinet before you can open it. In a bathroom where the cabinet sits above a toilet or beside a doorframe, that clearance often does not exist. These two doors slide across the face instead of swinging out, so the cabinet opens fully in a spot where a hinged door would catch on something. The cabinet measures 18.1 in wide by 24 in high and projects 7.9 in from the wall. The top surface is rated to 22 lb and works as an open shelf for a plant or a folded towel, while each interior tier also takes 22 lb. Underneath, a towel bar rated to 8.8 lb is built into the frame, which means the cabinet handles the one bathroom job that usually requires a separate fitting drilled into the wall somewhere else.Construction combines particleboard and Mdf with a steel frame, and the assembled cabinet weighs 15.8 lb. The barn door styling with visible hardware gives it a farmhouse character that suits a bathroom with wood accents or painted panelling, and the rustic white finish is warm rather than stark, so it reads as furniture rather than as a fitting.
