Fifty gallons split across two sections is a household-scale sorter. Each half holds a full load, which means both darks and lights can accumulate to a complete wash before either needs running, rather than one section filling first and forcing a half-empty cycle.Removable bags in each section are what make that work. One bag lifts out and goes to the machine while the other stays where it is, so the sorting done when the clothes came off is still intact when the second load runs. The hamper measures 30.5 in long by 16.1 in wide and stands 31.9 in tall, with an overall static capacity of 66 lb. Steel frame with oxford fabric brings the assembled weight to 10.3 lb, light enough that a full hamper still rolls easily on its wheels. At 16.1 in deep it lines a wall in a utility room or a bathroom without projecting into the walkway, which is what decides whether a hamper this size is usable in a real home.
