Six pounds is remarkably light for a rolling laundry basket, and that weight is the point. Most wheeled hampers carry the frame weight of a piece of furniture, which makes them awkward to reposition and heavy to lift over a threshold. This one moves like the fabric basket it mostly is.Static capacity is 77 lb despite that, which comes from the steel frame doing the structural work while oxford fabric provides the body. The basket measures 23.6 in long by 19.7 in wide and stands 29.9 in tall, a footprint that suits a bathroom corner, a bedroom, or the end of a landing.a removable liner bag lifts out with the contents, which means the wash goes to the machine in the bag rather than the whole basket being carried or tipped. Wheels handle the distance from the bedroom to the utility room, which is the part of laundry nobody enjoys. The combination of low weight, real capacity, and a liner that carries is what makes the basket get used rather than becoming a permanent pile in a corner.
