As someone who has grown up not being able to fully express herself, writing this book has been a source of light and growth in my life, I have compared this growth to violets blossoming in the darkness. My poetry tells a story of the challenges that I experienced and incorporates raw emotion throughout. With a positive end, this book displays how time can heal and inner work can help us to overcome negative experiences.
