Vergil: A study of philosophy in the Aeneid : revised

This is an examination of Vergil's epic poem the Aenied through the lens of his other poems and his acquaintance with ancient philosophy. Specific passages from Eclogues, Georgics and Aeneid are cited, examined and analyzed with the aid of passages from Epicurus, Lucretius and Cicero.
