Pre-owned and now (re)loved, this Turnlock Backpack is a very special Coach upcrafted design inspired by our commitment to rethinking and reducing our impact on the planet. Saved from the landfill, this gently-worn bag was lovingly repaired and transformed by our in-house craftspeople who added clever details to give it a second life. It’s completely one-of-a-kind, and comes with its own unique set of charms. Wear it, love it, pass it on.Artistically reimagined by Eunice Chang with a free-spirited flying balloon motif, this hands-free style has been expertly cleaned, conditioned and restored. Our talented craftspeople Ella Mulley, Alfred Deaza and Yngrid Pichardo Baez hand-embellished the flap with playful leather and suede appliqué, replaced the binding, top handle and straps in a coordinating hue, attached new turnlock and buckles, repaired edgestain throughout, refreshed the interior, then added a playful repurposed charm. The Turnlock Backpack is part of The Coach Originals, a collection of archival-inspired bags that celebrates our legacy and authentic New York heritage. Reimagined for today, this glovetanned leather style is based on a beloved 1997 Coach design. Finished with our iconic turnlock closure and classic edge-binding construction, it has a spacious open compartment with multifunction pockets, an interior drawstring closure, a top handle and adjustable straps.
