Up From The Past

A big-city cop tires of the city and moves to a small, Texas Panhandle town to take the Deputy Sheriff position. He has the misfortune of meeting up with the meanest, ugliest, most inconsiderate bulldog he had ever seen. He meets Sally and a romantic relationship develops. Then all hell breaks loose. On a cold, overcast Halloween night, the peace of the small community is shattered, and the lives of the citizens are changed forever. A vicious murder is committed on the grounds of the local university. DNA evidence shows the killer to be a prehistoric sub-human, who has not existed for over five million years! Several more gruesome attacks occur in which more citizens are found murdered. Slade elicits the help of the local museum curator, a renowned expert in DNA and prehistoric life.
