As the 4th Race traveled past the 2 million light year mark on their way to the "Twin" galaxy – they noticed that an entire Quadrant of the galaxy was dark – as if the stars had been turned off! The 4th Race periodically stopped in the star void to navigate and place beacon buoys. By the time they reached 2.1 million light years – 2 more Quadrants had winked out! At 2.25 million light years from the home galaxy – the Twin was almost completely dark! The 4th Race astronomers estimated that 90% of the stars in the Twin galaxy were no longer producing light. The 4th Race astronomers could not explain this phenomenon. One thing was certain – they would not be able to colonize the Twin galaxy as they had originally planned.
The lead elements of the 4th Race expedition ran into the reason - a massive alien invasion force that had come to the local group from the Hercules star clusters. The 4th Race astronomers could see a line of blackened galaxies that went back through the Hercules clusters. The astronomers had not been looking at it or any other galaxies on their long trip because they concentrated their observations on the stars in the Twin galaxy to determine where they needed to settle.
In fact it was a young child that noticed the change in the Hercules clusters.
The Invaders were no longer alive – but their ships continued to consume entire galaxies!
This is the continuing story of the legendary 7 Sisters. The autonomous heavily armed sentient battleships designed, built, raised and trained by the 6th Race to serve the galactic Union. The genius rescued by the Commander of the 7 Sisters brought forth two new Sisters, after mastering the technology of the 6th Race, thus restoring the Sisters to their original strength. The "new Baby Sisters" – though teenagers – have proven themselves worthy to bear the name bestowed upon their Aunts and Mothers by the Union. The Commander realized this genius could restore the Union Navy and gave him everything he needed to accomplish the task.
Then the only surviving Union Planetary Army (UPA) Dominator – after sacrificing himself to stop a great evil bent on enslaving the entire galaxy – found Adapa – the lost brother of the 7 Sisters. He was the first Union Artificial Life (AL) form Cruiser created by the 6th Race. The official Union history recorded the first 6th Race Cruiser went insane – attacked its creators and then fled the galaxy!
In this story Adapa is brought back from oblivion and given a new larger more powerful hull. He sets the example for the new Union Navy Sailors and Star Marines to follow. He shows them how the old Union Navy traditions and regulations are important. The Sisters travel to the Andromeda galaxy and rescue the 4th Race from an ancient alien fleet. The 4th Race returns to the galaxy they abandoned in secret. In an effort to rule the home galaxy the political leaders of the 4th Race join forces with the Forerunners to bring an end to the Seven Sisters! The Forerunners invaded and enslaved the entire galaxy before the Union began!
Sharri leads her first independent combat mission to save 4th Race Union Navy dependents. The first secret Special Projects Starship Yard is completed. The SuperSentry comes online to take over the day-to-day operations of the Secure Harbors and Logistics Supply Bases from Ninlil. The New Union Navy Sailors and Star Marines prove themselves worthy to carry their respective titles.
