Understatement in Bloomington, MN

Rudy's father appears unexpectedly in DizzGo's, to give Janette a letter addressed to both Rudy and Janette. In the letter, Husky confesses to an agreement he made with Violet long ago... which Rudy isn't certain whether he even wants to know about. Husky then reminisces about everything that had and hadn't happened between him and Violet, while he plans to surprise her that evening. Rudy's concern over a beach trip Dane has paid for in advance for Janette, leaves him moody, and subdued. Janette worries about him. Is it a misunderstanding? Dane's parents are about to get married, in a hospital.
