Logic is common to all sentient species - what stirs up trouble is assuming that all species have *the same* logic. Living the life of the invader isn't all it's cracked up to be, only a few days into it and 'bad' has quickly devolved into 'worse'.Joan, taken.Heather, lost.Cruncher, a friend, if in varyingly loose terms.Missing rebels and W - who is an even larger unknown. And most recently 259, the lioness and the lion...The air is charged with a looming threat but 'the worst' is that both its content and source are shapeless. How do you defend against something when you don't know what it is or where it's coming from? How do you live to fight another day if you don't know what you're fighting for?Is it a single Human and an Ethos standing against the world? Is it a few stalled invaders against the stronger majority? Is it the rebels fighting for freedom? Is it the Ethos for a better life?Or is it an alternative future whose chances of happening are as large as the face of a bottle cap?If two species don't share logic, you throw having the same ideas about 'right and wrong' out the window. Question is, would that make everybody wrong, right, or simply doomed?Maybe then, there *really is* only one question: fight?
