Two Worlds in Bloomington, MN

While running away from his wealthy family in Singapore, Stanley abandons his ship when it docks in Indonesia. There, he meets Eve, a simple village girl who happens to be Daddy's girl. While they fall in love, men in the village drop dead, presumably at the hands of the village ghost.
With Stanley's mysterious background, Eve's Daddy disapproves of him and matchmakes her with a man of his choice.
Stanley's past catches up with him when his step uncle hunts down the serial killer.
What is to become of the young lovers?
Will their love survive?
