Ex-Dallas-cop-turned-private-eye likes good Scotch on the rocks, and his new client, Guy Borodin, makes him a such a drink or two when he hires Jack to tail his wife and get photos of her with her lover. It sounds like the kind of case Jack likes--simple. But Jack can't leave things alone. Something's not right. Is it the naked nymph shimmering in Borodin's pool? The unlikely set of characters Ms. Borodin is associating with? Or just a hunch? Almost as much as he likes Scotch, Jack likes to play his hunches.
