Toward A Clearer View

TOWARD A CLEARER VIEW, a collection of essays, is composed of a series of positions on controversial topics of the day having moral, political, religious and scientific impact. Each essay stands on its own in terms of its particular message, but more importantly, the collection represents in its aggregate, a multi-faceted view of the world that is based on a set of clearly defined premises, distilled from a pervasive moral philosophy directly inherited from Roman Catholic tradition. It is the purpose of this work to encourage young readers to develop personal worldviews based on carefully chosen premises and crafted by conscious and consistent attention to selected standards of morality. This mindful way of engaging the world, accompanied by a willingness to hear opposing arguments while defending, if they can, their own, will - serve both the individual and the society in which he and she live.
