Samuel Sanderson thought the idea of soulmates was absolutely insane, until he met the one. Sarah Tealgate was his best friend since seventh grade, but he was worried about ruining their friendship. He waited too long and was too late. Sam attempts to wait for her, but as years pass, the more he realizes that he may in fact be too late for having a soulmate, and that the idea in and of itself is ridiculous. As Sam tries to move on from Sarah, he constantly gets his heart broken, and continues to have feelings for her.
