Tony Sanchez: Trumpet Songs

is the story of the love of a man for his trumpet. It takes the reader through different styles of music in America beginning with mariachi in the 1920's in Mexico through the thirties, forties, fifties and sixties, exploring a spectrum of times and places as the new music styles of bebop, jazz, blues, swing and pop emerge, culminating in the 1970's with the advent of folk-rock.
