In America, Africa, France, and Haiti, an interesting group of people from different social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds find ways to live productive lives in a global world where people and issues are not clearly defined and solutions are difficult and complex. At the same time, their struggles are universal: To live in peace and fulfill their dreams. In To Seek and Find they explore how Haiti can recover from a historical litany of natural and man-created disasters; how France can cope with an increasing number of immigrants and social unrest, a problem in many European countries; how coastal cities in America can find solutions to environmental changes; and how African nations can overcome outside interference and internal corruption to provide better lives for their people.
