The animals in the story represent different branches of God's family...Thomas T- Moss (Catholics), Lucky Luther (Protestants), and Jeremiah the Rabbit (Jewish believers). Thomas T-Moss and the Great Tuna was purposely written and illustrated in a child-like manner to emphasize that we are all God's children no matter what our age. In 1983, Joyce believes to have knowledge revealed to her in that she was to be a bridge to Christian unity. Joyce Dean illustrated most of this book in 1999 through the prompting of the Holy Spirit. She believes the message is like a prophetic parable.
