This Thirst devotional is the last of three devotionals in the book of Psalms covering the Psalms 97-150. While the Psalms are written by multiple people, you'll find as we study, the majority were written by a man named David. David was a simple shepherd who was anointed as the second king over Israel, but when David was anointed, there was already a king. David had to have faith in God that God would keep the promises He made. While waiting to become the next king of Israel David faced many challenges, from simply being patient for God's timing to running for his life when people wanted to kill him.
