Every high school senior wants to be Carter Moore, starting cornerback on a playoff bound football team, dream girlfriend, perfect family, living in a perfect house in the right part of town. Until he attends sibling weekend at his sister's college, where he is sexually assaulted at a party. His world falls apart as his family tries to hide what happened to him. Carter plummets into the world of a sexual assault victim, that is, until he meets Rana, a survivor of her own circumstances and past. Rana becomes Carter's lifeline as he attempts to become the survivor of what happened that night.
