For 29 years the high schools in Barnesboro and Spangler in Pennsylvania battled each other annually for football supremacy in northern Cambria County; and suddenly a jointure was formed and they became united under the banner of Northern Cambria High. This book is a history of their coming together, thus ending a bitter rivalry; and could be considered a microcosm of football in the 1950's.
