THE YEARNING OF BOATS in Bloomington, MN

The Yearning of Boats is Michael Strange's first book of poetry. A former Marine Corps pilot and English professor, he currently works as a strategy and planning manager for a large computer company. He holds an MFA degree in fiction writing from Penn State University, which he says is why so many of his poems are "short stories in verse." His current writing project is a novel set in the Inner Banks of North Carolina where he lives on the water with his wife, Beth.
