The Woman in the White Coat

With New York City gripped by the Great Depression, private detective Derek Kowalski struggles to make a living amid mounting bills and unscrupulous clients. Then one night, a mysterious and beautiful woman comes to him, offering a great deal of money for a seemingly easy job, which he eagerly accepts. Before long however, the detective finds himself facing a sinister conspiracy of smuggling and corruption, one that powerful forces are willing to kill to protect. From grim docks to opulent mansions, Derek hunts for evidence to bring down the conspirators, becoming locked into a deadly game of cat and mouse from which only one side can emerge victorious.
