A man is forced to question his life while cast away in an artificial world where regularity reins and nothing ever changes. He is forced to walk endlessly alongside a white wall just to earn a meager ration of nutrients at the end of the day. The anonymous inmate of the monstrous world of this story witnesses how his life is wasted in a laboratory designed for the sole purpose of testing him, or maybe to drive him crazy, whatever happens first.
