The Victory of God

THIS BOOK IS AN EXPOSITION of the struggles of Israel in her quest to possess the land of promise in Numbers and Joshua. In many ways, Israel's struggles mirror our struggles today in our journey to the city of God. In Numbers, we see the hardship of Israel due to her rebellion. In Joshua, we see the obedience of Israel to the Law of Yahweh. Yahweh fights for Israel and secures her victory over her enemies. Yet the real victory is the triumph of God's grace over Israel's weaknesses and God's covenant love over her unfaithfulness. This is the victory of God. God's grace thrives in our weakness. God's victory will be your victory as you overcome difficulties in God's strength and faithfulness.
