Hannah Whitall Smith was a Christian author during the Holiness movement in the United States and the Higher Life Movement in the United Kingdom. Smith was also a key figure in the Women's suffrage movement and still remains a popular author among Christians today. In 1903, Smith published a spiritual biography called The Unselfishness of God and How I Discovered It.
