Press Oliver, termed as colored was the product of a white bachelor and a black woman of whom not much is known. Press inherited quite a fortune from his father at the turn of the century. Newspapers from around the state covered the trial that would attempt to stop the inheritance. Press in all his imperfections and humanity somehow survived but made huge mistakes along the way.
