Something nefarious is going on at Gravenhurst Manor. Mabel's mother, Sophie, is positive her best friend, Mini, did not die of natural causes. She convinces Mabel to investigate the suspicious circumstances of Mini's death. Is there a cold, calculating murderer at work? If so, Mabel needs to find the killer before it's too late; her mother could be the next victim. The trouble is Mabel's main suspect has the perfect alibi, namely Mabel. But why would anyone want to kill a senior? Too bad Mabel's valued sidekick, Violet, is no longer reliable. Violet has gotten herself involved with a man, and Mabel doesn't trust him.
