Candace Shrock is well known in her village for her lovely quilts, and her community Quilting Barn is a favorite place for the women to gather and sew. But one day, Candace comes across something quite unusual in the barn! An intruder has tossed about and muddied her quilts-and he is still there! Young Caleb Raber had been passing through their village when he was forced to take refuge in the Shrocks' barn. And though he is terribly contrite about destroying the quilts, he finds himself even more disturbed to have upset Candace.
