THIS SINGLE-PERSPECTIVE, ONENESS THEOLOGICAL Argument was written for the sole purpose of providing understanding, clarity, revelation, doctrine, instruction, as well as correction to all individuals-the Believer and non-Believer alike, with regard to an extremely misunderstood and notoriously mis-taught and irreverently practiced subject matter-Holy Communion. The purpose for using such direct wording lies in the fact that numerous individuals have, unfortunately, become victims of Christian denominations that adhere to a form of godliness, denying the power thereof...teaching false doctrine, causing these victimized "Christians" to deny the sound Biblical principle of Holy Communion altogether! Now, in achieving this main objective, I have chosen to utilize an in-depth approach of the Word of God. In short, I have provided numerous Scripture texts to aid towards complete understanding, clarity, as well as revelation of this highly misunderstood and misapplied Biblical subject matter. I would like to submit the following thesis statement as the Major Premise or Central Assertion of this theological thesis: The Biblical viewpoint and religious practice of Oneness Christianity today (with regard to Holy Communion) is to be viewed as a Divinely-instituted Ordinance that ought to be reverently adhered to by all individuals who call themselves a Oneness Apostolic-Pentecostal Christian. The Minor Premise or General Presupposition, then, rests solely upon the following Claim: Despite the current practice within Oneness, Holy Communion is to include both Foot Washing and The Lord's Supper (which is the bread and "wine" [i.e., grape juice]), by performing Foot Washing first! In short, I will provide sound Biblical Evidence that both Foot Washing and The Lord's Supper represent the Biblical constituents of Holy Communion! Now, with this said, please allow me to state (for the record) that the current viewpoint and practice of the Church (including Orthodoxy Christianity; albeit, it's not part of the Church of the Living God), then, may be said to be laden with numerous Scriptural inconsistencies. In other words, in doing my own Biblical study and research, I have encountered much error being taught within numerous Christian denominations as being Biblical. With this said, contrary to standard expository writing guidelines, it is my professional opinion that this has occurred due to a lack of Biblical understanding, faulty Biblical research, spiritual blindness and deafness, improper application of hermeneutics and exegesis, as well as being guilty of not having a proper walk with God (c.f., Ephesians 3:17). This, unfortunately, has caused non-Biblical doctrinal teaching and religious practice, which has led to false doctrine, again, with regard to Holy Communion. Now, I make such frank statements, because what is presented to you within this Single-perspective, Oneness Theological Argument, not only offers the most complete explanation of Biblical Communion, but it provides the best Biblical Evidence as to why this Theological Argument is the most persuasive Oneness Christian Doctrinal viewpoint-it presents the most solid Biblical, contextual, hermeneutical, exegetical, and historical presentation! As you read through this Single-perspective, Oneness Theological Argument, I ask that you momentarily suspend your doctrinal viewpoint, background, and/or denominal tradition, then sincerely pray-seeking after The Wisdom and Counsel of God-asking God to unveil His truth, and to provide complete understanding (including clarity and conviction, if needed) of this profound subject matter. But, most importantly, to reveal the spiritual significance of Holy Communion as being a sound Biblical Ordinance for the Church today, as clearly described and outlined within John 6:41-58 & 13:1-30 (including, I Corinthians 11:23-32).
