the Shadows of Knight
's third LP, this set shows a competent
bar band
in over their head and little here has the timeless snotty appeal of their hit version of
"Gloria."
Only lead singer
Jim Sohns
remained from the group's original lineup by this point, and although the band tries hard to be energetic, it all has the feel of an act that has gone on well past its sell by point. ~ Steve Leggett
