Deep in the forest is an old Redwood tree. It is the home and studio of a forest artist. She loves to paint the animal, birds and flowers in vibrant color combinations. Creatures come from all over for a chance to have a new color scheme. One day, the artist hears a knock at the door. When she steps out into the woods there is a grizzly bear! Scared by the angry looking bear, she runs off into the woods. While she is gone a unicorn and his firefly friends come to the studio. As the unicorn waits for the artist to return, he makes a mess of the studio tree when he knocks over paint pots. The unicorn is pleased with his accidental paint job. However, the artist is shocked by her paint splattered studio when she returns.
